# dns_provider_unavailable

The DNS provider did not answer or asked us to slow down.

## What it means

The DNS provider's API timed out, failed, or rate-limited our requests while adding the records. `Retry-After` says how long to wait.

## Why it happens

- A short outage or slowdown at the provider.
- Many changes to the same account in a short time.

## What to do

1. Wait the number of seconds in `Retry-After`, then press **Add it for me** again. Records already added are kept and not duplicated.
2. If it keeps happening, add the records by hand with **I'd rather add it myself**.
